<aside> 💡 When you insert a variable into a sheet or a form, Magical remembers which variable correlates with which field. This is called a mapping!
Fill a row on a sheet or fill out a form by inserting variables, and then fill it again and watch the magic happen ⭐

Using variables, Magical populates sheets like Google Sheets or databases like fields in your CRM or ATS, without any copy-pasting.
To do this, first show Magical where you want to pull data from (e.g. LinkedIn) and where you want the data to go (e.g. Google Sheets or Salesforce). Create this mapping once, and Magical will do the rest for you.
First, open your destination (Google Sheets or form) and open the tabs where you want to pull data from. For example, if you were sourcing candidates on Linkedin, you would open the profiles of candidates you’re interested in.
In Google Sheets, type // to fill in a sheet’s row of cells with your candidate’s variable data such as Name, Company, or School. Now, Magical will remember this mapping between your Google Sheet cells and the variables from LinkedIn.
On the next row, type // again and click Fill everything. Magical will populate the rows below with information from the remaining tabs you have open.
Navigate to your favorite CRM or ATS, and create a new record. Type // to start filling out the form with your open tab’s variable information.
The next time you fill out this form, type // and click “Fill everything”. Magical will remember the mapping and fill out the form automatically with your remaining open tab’s information.
